caught in Thailand
for atrocities perpetuated
in far off lands of
brown skinned peoples,
away from now Anglo shores
heisted from first people
in bloodtrinkets and
smallpox.
Cultural psyche scarred
by rape of Powatan's
princess
four centuries prior to
this moment
of
timespace condensed to
instant sponteneity
of unplotted texts and portraits
based on
postmodern Artistic ambitions
weighted by commercial
necessity
and
empty, material sadness.
